We have deep roots in Alberta’s industrial landscape. Our crews have spent decades building the local expertise, client relationships, and operational knowledge that complex crane work in this province demands. Alberta’s energy sector, construction industry, and infrastructure projects have shaped who we are, and that experience shows up in every lift we plan and every crew we put onsite.
Who We Are
We are Alberta’s crane and rigging specialists. Our team understands the demands of working across this province, from remote oil and gas sites north of Fort McMurray to tight urban lots in downtown Calgary and Edmonton, and down into Southern Alberta’s agri-processing plants around Lethbridge, Brooks, and Medicine Hat. That local knowledge is backed by access to a fleet of more than 700 cranes and a network of over 40 branch locations across North America, giving us the depth and flexibility to handle projects of any scale. Remote sites, tight timelines, and challenging site conditions are part of the work we do every day.
Our operators hold National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) certification, and our riggers carry National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) credentials. Every rental we put on your site comes with a certified operator, not just certified equipment.
Serving Alberta Customers Since 2014
Our company was founded in 1985 in Houston, Texas, starting with a single 18-ton crane. In 2014, we entered the Western Canadian market through the acquisition of Stampede Crane & Rigging and Eagle West Cranes, bringing our crane and rigging capabilities into Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan for the first time. In the years since, we have grown our Alberta footprint to branches in Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Calgary, Lethbridge, Brooks, and Medicine Hat, plus a location in Abbotsford, BC, to support projects across Western Canada. More than a decade into serving this province, we have built the crew depth and equipment inventory that Alberta’s energy, construction, and infrastructure sectors rely on for lifts of every size.

Our planning team works directly with your team before a single crane arrives onsite, reviewing load requirements, site constraints, and scheduling to develop a plan that keeps your project on time and on budget. For complex or multi-phase projects, that front-end planning makes a measurable difference.

Our Indigenous partnerships reflect a genuine commitment to building relationships with the communities across the regions we serve, not just operating within them. That commitment is woven into how we approach hiring, procurement, and long-term community investment.
Safety is not a checkbox for us. It is built into how we plan a lift long before a crane rolls onto site, from crew certifications to the way we assess ground conditions and overhead clearances on every job.
Our Fleet
Our Alberta fleet covers the full range of crane types and lifting capacities. All-terrain crane rentals go up to 500 tons for projects that call for both capacity and mobility between sites. For unprepared or ungraded ground, our rough terrain cranes handle the uneven footing common on Alberta job sites, while our stiff boom cranes, in the 17 to 50 ton range, are built for sites with overhead restrictions. Crane truck rentals up to 50 tons give us the confined and urban access that downtown lifts and tight lots demand. For the heaviest picks, we also draw on crawler crane capacity up to 660 tons with boom reach to 600 feet through our broader TNT network, so a project’s scale doesn’t outgrow what we can put on site.
Beyond the cranes themselves, we carry an extensive inventory of rigging equipment, gantry jacks, and specialty lift units, along with industrial and machinery moving services and lift planning and engineering support. Whatever your project demands, we can put together a solution that fits.
