At TNT Crane & Rigging, the right crane on a jobsite only matters as much as the crew running it. We put safety above every other consideration on every lift, and we build that discipline into an iCare safety culture that shapes how our people show up for each other, not just a policy binder we point to when asked. Alongside safety, five core values guide how we operate: honesty, teamwork, caring, humility, and creativity. Together, they define how we treat customers, crews, and the communities we work in across Alberta.
Our Core Values
Honesty
We operate in a transparent way on every job, which means customers get straight answers on crane selection, boom reach, ground conditions, and cost before a crawler or all-terrain unit ever rolls onto site. If a lift plan needs to change because of overhead restrictions or soft ground, we say so early rather than after mobilization. That transparency is also why our certified operators come standard with every rental: customers are never left guessing who is running the equipment or what their qualifications are. No matter how complicated a rigging job gets, we would rather deliver an honest answer than a convenient one.
Teamwork
Our branches in Edmonton, Calgary, Fort McMurray, Lethbridge, Brooks, and Medicine Hat only function as one company because our people treat each other as one crew. That means operators, riggers, and lift planning staff sharing what they know about a site rather than working in silos, and it means celebrating milestones like a project closing out without incident. On a rigging job, a swing radius miscalculation or a missed ground-bearing check anywhere on the crew becomes everyone’s problem, so we train and communicate as a team, not as individuals who happen to share a jobsite.
Caring
Caring, for us, means putting resources behind the communities we work in rather than just talking about them. In the Wood Buffalo region around Fort McMurray, we operate as TNT Infinity Crane & Rigging, a partnership with Infinity Metis Corporation that is built to create local employment and revenue opportunities for Metis residents alongside our crane and rigging work. Across British Columbia, TNT/MNBC Crane & Rigging does the same in partnership with Metis Nation British Columbia. Both partnerships exist so that our presence in a region means more than equipment showing up: it means jobs and revenue staying local. We extend that same standard internally, looking out for the wellbeing of our own crews and their families as part of our iCare safety culture, not as a separate program bolted onto the job.
Humility
Every lift we quote starts with listening, not a canned proposal. We know that any customer calling for a crawler crane, an all-terrain unit, or a stiff boom rental for an overhead-restricted site has other options, so we take the time to understand the actual site conditions, schedule, and constraints before recommending equipment. That means asking about ground bearing capacity before assuming a rough terrain crane is the right call, and it means treating a repeat customer’s ninth lift with the same attention as their first. We do not assume we already know what a site needs; we confirm it.
Creativity
Rigging and lift planning rarely go exactly to plan, and that is where creativity earns its place in our culture. Our lift planning and engineering team works through the site-specific problems standard equipment selection does not solve on its own, whether that is sequencing a pick around overhead lines with a stiff boom crane or reworking a rigging configuration for an awkward load geometry. Reach to 600 feet on the crawler cranes we bring in through our network, or 500 tons of capacity on an all-terrain unit from our own fleet, only helps if the plan behind the lift accounts for the site in front of us. We treat every unusual job as a chance to build a better solution, not a reason to fall back on the easiest one.
Working With Us
Our culture is the reason customers across Alberta keep calling us back for crane rentals, rigging, and lift planning. If you want to work with a crew that treats safety, honesty, and your project as seriously as we treat our own, contact us at 1-833-479-7833 (Edmonton), 1-877-571-5711 (Calgary), or 1-855-548-8117 (Southern Alberta), or reach out through our contact page to discuss your next lift.
